Invest in yourself

Counselling is an investment in yourself and your wellbeing. You are not merely paying for a session, you are offering yourself the time and space to think about, talk through, and explore what really matters to you. It is a commitment to restoring and replenishing the best of who you are, what you have to offer, and how you'd like to express yourself.

What you can expect

Our time together is relaxed, comforting, and something for you to look forward to. I use a combination of positive approaches and tools that encourage and support you to recognise and reconnect with the best of yourself.

Remembering who you are and how to enjoy being you is very satisfying.

Hi, I'm Laura

...and I genuinely love being a counsellor!

Being listened to as you talk with someone you can trust helps you remember that you are not alone. It feels so good to share, and talking about things can open up the door for healing.

When we talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. When we try to keep things stored in our head, especially strong feelings, it gets overwhelming, which fuels our anxiety. Talking with someone who really listens frees us from that. There are also many life tools that are simple to use, yet life-changing, when you know about them.

Together, our conversations will uncover and name what's going on for you, and help you to find your way, as you learn ways make sense of the challenges you have found yourself facing, and techniques to navigate it all.

Go on, try counselling. It really works!
